Out N About - CHEEERS is not currently offering Out N About Activities . We hope to resume this events in the Fall / Winter of 2021
Community Volunteering Our participants get involved in the community by helping with different initiatives. These programs get us out and engaged in our communities. Giving back is a positive step towards recovery. We also offer volunteer opportunties on our campus for participants when health precautions and protocals allow.
Recreation CHEEERS has a recreation room with a pool table, an outside eating area, and regularly scheduled events, games, movies and more. The recreation areas are available for our participants to socialize or you can join in a programmed event. Whatever it is, we know it will be fun!
Social & Holiday Events Watch the calendar for our special events. We have had Luau's, Dances, Movie Nights and more. Plan on coming to our next holiday or seasonal event.
CHEEERS Volunteers With all that we have going on, we always welcome volunteers and new ideas. If you are interested in art, cooking, group programs, we can get you involved. This is how many of our staff members started out at CHEEERS.

In 1990, the ADA became law that prohibits discrimination and ensures equal opportunity and access for persons with disabilities. CHEEERS is committed to the ADA in our role as a transportation provider. No one who uses CHEEERS transportation will be the subject of discrimination under the rules set forth in the ADA.CHEEERS Vans are equipped to accept passengers who use mobility devices.
CHEEERS Facilities are also ADA compliant offering ease to access services for any individual needing such accommodation.
What if I need to file an ADA complaint?
Everyone should be able to access our services and participate in our programming that offers transportation . However, if there is ever an instance where you or another member feels they’ve been discriminated against by being denied service or related reasons by CHEEERS to should initiate a complaint investigation by calling Maria Whaley at 602-246-7607 or by emailing email@example.com.

CHEEERS Transportation related Notice,
CHEEERS policy assures full compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights act of 1964 and related statutes and regulations in all programs and activities. Title VI states that “no person shall on the grounds of race, color, national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination” under any CHEEERS sponsored program or activity. There is no distinction between the sources of funding.
CHEEERS also assures that every effort will be made to prevent discrimination through the impacts of its programs, policies and activities on minority and low-income populations. Furthermore, CHEEERS will take reasonable steps to provide meaningful access to services for persons with Limited English Proficiency.
CHEEERS will ensure all subrecipients fully comply with CHEEERS Title VI Nondiscrimination Program requirements. The President & CEO has delegated the authority to Maria Whaley, Director of Operations, to oversee and implement FTA Title VI requirements.
